Stretchers

Duo Fine Art Services provides museum grade, custom stretchers for artists and institutional needs to fit any shape and size! We build; standard and adjustable wood stretchers, Tri-Mar aluminum stretchers, primed or unprimed artist canvases as well as artist panels. In addition, Duo provides stretching needs for existing artworks.

What is the difference between wood and aluminum stretchers?

• Wood is a more traditional material choice. Typically it is less expensive and can be built to any shape or size.

• Tri-Mar aluminum stretchers do not warp which is important for large canvases and can be built to any shape or size. These stretchers are very lightweight and durable. Depts are customizable starting at 1”.
